CTIF - HAS JOINED cetim (Centre technique des industries de la MECANIQUE)

On 1 April 2023, CTIF merged with CETIM. As a result, it will continue to develop its activities as a benchmark industrial technical centre for metallurgy and metal processing (casting, refining, recycling, etc.), benefiting from CETIM's broader range of mechanical engineering skills. In addition to its own facilities and resources in Sèvres (92) and Lyon (69), CETIM's strike force has been added. As a result, it will be able to continue to better support foundry and forge manufacturers in their projects to improve their competitiveness and their development, both in France and internationally.

Technical Centre for Mechanical Industry was created in 1965, upon request from mechanical industry companies in order to provide companies with means and competences to improve their competitiveness, take part in standardisation, establish a relationship between scientific research and industry, promote technical progress, provide assistance to improve performance and guarantee quality.

Laboratoire FAN is an expertise center for the characterization of metal materials, surface treatments, heat treatments and non-destructive testing.

ESFF - Ecole supérieure de fonderie et de forge

ESFF is a unique state-recognised engineering school which provides apprentice engineers with complete training in metallurgy, industrial processes and design.

The school prepares highly competent and fully operational engineers in the fields of foundry and forge and is a member of the Arts & Métiers network. ESFF also provides opportunities for engineering professionals wishing to complete a master's degree in engineering.
